Shari Yaros is an associate of Thomas Neches & Company.   Her work experience includes: Pacific Heritage Bank - Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Gibraltar Savings Corporation - Assistant Vice President and Manager of Corporate Planning; Peat Marwick Main & Company - Consultant, Financial Institutions Group; Bank Earnings International – Consultant; First Interstate Bank - International Banking Officer.  

In these positions, Ms. Yaros formalized the accounting and finance department for an independent real estate bank; wrote and implemented the bank’s investment and asset/liability management policies;  managed the bank’s investments portfolio; created the bank’s first unit-based budgeting and variance reporting system; oversaw internal and external financial reporting for monthly financials, quarterly SEC filings, annual reports, stock offering prospectuses, and other regulatory filings and appeals; oversaw external bank audits by independent certified public accountants, regulatory agencies, and the Internal Revenue Service; assisted in due diligence related to acquisitions; oversaw forecasting of corporate financial performance under various business and economic conditions; monitored debt-rescheduling and trade financing programs;  prepared country studies, including assessing foreign political and economic risk and presenting portfolio recommendations to executive management.  As an executive officer of Pacific Heritage Bank, Ms. Yaros was a member of the Executive, Asset/Liability Management and Investment Committees, and attended all Board of Director meetings to present financial reports and other financial information to the board.

         Ms. Yaros works as a consultant and forensic accountant, assisting attorneys and individuals on financial and accounting aspects of family law, personal injury and other civil litigation cases.  She has prepared both loss of earnings and damages analyses and has provided expert testimony at deposition.

          Ms. Yaros is a Certified Public Accountant.  She received her MBA (concentrations:  finance and international economics) and BS in Business Administration (concentrations: accounting and finance) from the University of California at Berkeley.
